As an Architectural photographer, I also absolutely love photographing hotels and restaurants. There is something about being in these beautiful buildings and trying to capture the feel and ambience that I do so enjoy.
In my endless quest to improve my skills and get ideas for images to create I search the internet. And in my travels, have found these 5 hotels that I think are just absolutely stunning. Let me know if you agree.
Belmond Hotel Caruso
Situated on the Amalfi Coast, the Belmond Hotel Caruso , is an 11th century hotel situated on the edge of a cliff with views for days. It has 50 rooms, a spa, restaurant and bar on site, and I think the decor and architecture is just amazing.
Riad Fes Maya
Whilst not necessarily in my taste, there is no denying the Riad Fes Maya is a striking hotel in Morocco. With 9 rooms, a spa and and restaurant, the luxury is obvious. I especially like the terrace with its 360 degree view of the city.
Blanket Bay Lodge, New Zealand
Situated at the edge of the Alps and the shores of a lake, Blanket Bay lodge in New Zealand is all about the location and activities. With 12 suites, rooms and lodges all spread out, this is truly a beautiful place to relax.
Kamalame Cay, Bahama’s
The Kamalame Cay hotel and resort in the Bahama’s has to be on your bucket list. I know it is on mine. Just for the location alone! A 96 acre private island with only 70 guests at a time, in a number of cottages, bungalows and villa’s it’s the ultimate unplugged experience.
Al Maha Desert Resort
The Al Maha Luxury resort in Dubai, is definitely an eye catching hotel. With 42 guest rooms, a restaurant, gym and spa, this 5 star hotel is quite eye catching as the images should show.
So there you go. 5 Hotels and Resorts that I think are beautiful and that I would definitely love to have the opportunity to photograph one day.
